Common FAQs for the Refine Her Challenge

Do I have to use my 1:1 call?
Nope! You have the 1:1 there if you want it/need it. Additionally, it can be utilized at any point during the challene! If you want to use it before the challenge starts or anytime during it, that's up to you! 

Do I have to attend anything live?
Nope! While the live aspect helps build more of the community feel, it is absolutely not needed to join anything live. There will be replays for anything and everything done live so that you don't have to miss out on anything! 

How will we access the workouts or devotionals (whether live or via replay)?
All lives will be through Zoom. You do not need to have your cameras on during any of the lives, but you're also more than welcome to. There will be a link for the workouts, one for the devos, and so forth. Through those protected links, you'll access the lives. Then, with your challenge membership, you'll have access to an online platform that will house all lives, guides, bonus material, etc. This will allow for you to have access to anything you need throughout any part of the challenge including all live replays! Everything will be organized so that it's easy to find and follow along. 

What if I'm not a Christian? Can I still do this program?
Absolutely! While mommaFit Collective is a faith-based business and this program is faith-based as well, you are still more than welcome. Since you're not required to join any devotional or live, you get to choose what you do. I would love for you to join in on devotional lives or discussions, but it is not required. You are most certainly welcome! Take what you need from this challenge. 

What all do I need for this challenge?
1. A space to workout. This doesn't need to be big, but having a designated space will help hold you accountable and can help make you excited to workout! Additionally, adding your own flare to the space can help, too!
2. Equipment: Dumbbells, resistance/glute bands, and a foam roller will be needed. Other equipment that may be used but can be subbed for something else or not used period are a bench and a core ball. When you sign up, you'll get a welcome email from me that will include ideas for some of these items if you need them! 
3. A scale. I recommend a biometric scale; one that can tell you everything: overall weight, muscle mass, body fat percentage, and more. This will help immensely for you to see the true changes at play and reduce any potential discouragement if the scale isn't moving exactly how you want. 
4. A tape measure. You'll use this to measure certain parts of your body to track throughout the challenge. 
5. Food scale. If you're planning on doing macros, having a food scale will be helpful. It may seem like a lot of work at first, but over time, you'll start to recognize how much certain amounts are and won't need to use it as much. 
6. A way to track. If you won't be using the fitness and nutrition trackers provided, make sure to have a system or something that allows you to track workouts, how you're feeling, progress, meals, calories, macros, etc. This can be through a notebook, your notes app, or any fitness app. 


Can I do this at the gym or does it have to be at home?
You can most definitely do this at a gym! You'll just need your phone to have access to wifi (unless you don't mind using data) for the workouts to play. 

Will there be a calendar we follow for replays or do we just do workouts randomly?
There will be a calendar and guide to help you! That way you can know what to expect and when to expect it. 

If I'm pregnant, will I be able to do this program?
So long as you are cleared, yes! While this is not a prenatal specific program (if you need one, check out my Prenatal Focus program!), I will provide important cues, notes, and adjustments for pregnancy. 

How will the community be ran? Where will it be?

The community will be online through the mommaFit Collective groups page. Only members of the challenge will be able to see what's in the group. You can access the group through a computer, laptop, mobile browsing, or the mommaFit Collective App. 

There will be posts from me throughout the duration of the challenge designed to check-in, encouragement, motivate, educate, and so much more to help you stay on track and see results!
